FALL 2016 Bible Studies Are Underway!

The women of EBC are very blessed to have two opportunities to take part in two Bible studies this fall.  On Wednesday mornings beginning at 9:30, Janet A. is leading women through Priscilla Shirer's ARMOR OF GOD study.  This study is PHENOMENAL.  It is a must-do!

On Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:30, Marnie Hinckley is leading women through Priscilla Shirer's GIDEON: Your Weakness. God's Strength.

Even though these studies are both underway, it is NEVER too late to jump in--even if you can only come a few times. You will be welcomed!

Both groups of women--the morning and evening ladies--are fun, fantastic women of God who would LOVE to journey through these studies with you, no matter what your background in the Bible is.  If you're a Bible master or a Bible beginner, you are WELCOME.

So, are you IN???

2016 Diaconate Retreat Prayer Warrior Sign Up

Welcome to the EBC Women's Ministry Page!  I am sure the EBC women will not mind allowing our EBC prayer warriors to use this space for a VERY important prayer task.  The hours for the Diaconate Retreat are listed below.  If you feel called to take an hour (or two!), please email Jen at with the following info:
1) how many hours you would like you commit to
2) 1-3 time slots that could work for you

I will try my hardest to confirm with all those are interested in a timely manner.  I hope that the harvest of prayer warriors is so great that I will have to work hard to get everyone fitted in where they would like to be.

I will update this blog post as often as I can so that you can see which hours still need coverage.

Thank you so much for considering this need!

God bless you!

New Bible Studies!

The women at EBC are very blessed to have the opportunity to participate in Bible study.  This fall we are offering studies by Priscilla Shirer.

You are welcome to join us at any time.  Drop in just to see what it's like or stay for the long haul.  Either way, we'll be so pleased you joined us!  If you have children, our Wednesday night study is during the same times as our Kids Club--a fantastic, FUN ministry for children.  So you can bring your children to learn about Jesus while you join in on your own study.  It is a WIN-WIN situation!

For more information, feel free to contact Jen at

Our Wednesday morning study (begins at 9:30) is journeying through Breathe: Making Room for Sabbath.

Our Wednesday evening study (6:00-7:30) is learning about spiritual warfare in The Armor of God.

Friday Beach Therapy, Parties, & More!

The EBC Women's Team has loads of fun things in store for you this summer!  Beginning Friday, June 26th, we will be engaging in Friday Beach Therapy days.  On Fridays when the weather cooperates, we will meet at 9:45 at the McDonald's on RT 138 in Raynham.  From there, we will carpool to the beach in Mashpee.  Bring your lunch, some money for parking and gas, towel, chair, and get ready to have some fun in the sun!  If you are planning to attend, please let Marnie know to expect you.

Also on June 26th the women of EBC (and their friends) are invited to a summer kick off pool party at the home of Nancy M (5 Wagon Wheel Circle in Easton).  The festivities will begin at 7.  Swimming is optional.  Come ready to enjoy an evening of fun around the pool, firepit, or both!  Please RSVP to Jen or Marnie if you are planning to attend.

Last but not least, we will be doing fun things throughout the summer on Wednesday evenings.  Some ideas we have are going out to eat, getting froyo, watching chick flicks, etc.  If you have any ideas or would like to invite us all over to your home for some fun, let Jen know!

After a long, hard winter, I am sure this summer is going to be the best!  Join us for some fun this summer.  It won't be the same without YOU!

Wednesday Evening Bible Study

Our Wednesday evening Bible study will kick off on October 1, 2014 along with Kids Club.  We will meet from 6:00-7:30, the same time as Kids Club, in order to accommodate moms.  We will be studying Breathe: Making Room for Sabbath by Priscilla Shirer.

Here is what the editor has to say about the study: "One of the greatest challenges among women in our culture is taking time to stop and cease from all the activities and busyness and just breathe. We are in bondage to busyness. We constantly strive to complete the limitless to-do lists that hinder us from experiencing all that God has for us. We miss the moments because we rush ahead to the next thing. By neglecting time for tranquility, serenity, and repose, we limit our Christlikeness and miss out on some of God's greatest gifts. It is time for us to breathe and build margin into our lives for God. In the Old Testament, God instituted principles and laws that would transform the Israelites' mindset. He didn't just want them legally free; He wanted them to be able to walk in the freedom and enjoy it. So God gave them many gifts, including boundaries in which to enjoy those gifts. Sabbath was intended as a gift, and it is still a gift to us today. If you are weary, worn out, and exhausted the concept of Sabbath will change your life."

Join us for a great time and a great study!
