My dear sisters in Christ,

It is with much fear and trembling that I have taken the position as your Women's Ministry Team leader. I am humbled by the opportunity to serve each of you, and I am exhilerated that God would use me to do so.

For many years, He had me in places where women's ministry was done excellently. I benefitted from those women who led me all those years, and now I am on the other end hoping to give back a little of what He has entrusted to me.

Being a woman, a christian woman, is not an easy task. Whether we are single or married, there are demands on our lives that keep us crazy-busy and feeling unfulfilled most of time. Maybe even inadequate. Undeserving. Ashamed. Bound.

But as Mary Mary reminds us in "Shackles", it is through Him that our shackles are indeed freed and released. It is my utter hope and joy that together as we sojourn along through in-depth Bible studies, christian novels, and just plain fun times that each of us will fall more and more deeply in love with the Lover of our souls.

He is Jesus, the One and Only.
